The Lalla Rookh Wine Store has won Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine's WA Wine List of the Year Award for 2016!
This is the second year in a row that the Wine Store list has won the accolade thanks to resident Somm, Jeremy Prus. Congratulations to Steve's and Fraser's for making it into the top 3 finalists.
The Australian Wine List of the Year Award went to Ferment Asian in Tanunda, SA, with Sommelier, Grant Dickson taking home the Judy Hirst Award. The Readers' Choice Award went to Restaurant Hubert in Sydney, NSW, thanks to Sommelier, Andy Tyson's list.
A special shout out to our mates at Budburst Small Bar for being a top 3 finalist for the Best New List Tony Hitchin Award and Rockpool Bar & Grill Perth for being a top 3 finalist for the Best Digestif List Award. Settler's Tavern in Margaret River also did a top job, making the top finalists in the Best Listing of Australian Wines Award and Best Listing of a Region's Wines Award.
